Our Purpose

Our sole purpose at Netball Stars is to give young children a positive first experience of the wonderful sport of Netball and provide opportunities for children to start their journey young. We see ourselves as a spring board for children wanting to play club netball in the future but might not be ready for the club environment yet. We are dedicated to delivering fun and engaging sessions that ensure progress and enjoyment.

Name: Jess Ferrand

Role: Head Coach and Founder of Netball Stars

Experience: PE Teacher, National Premiere League Player, Regional Player, Regional Schools Coach, Aim Netball Academy Coach.

I founded Netball Stars in September 2021 as I wanted my own daughter to have the opportunity to play Netball. I am a firm believer in starting them young! The sooner they have a ball in their hands the sooner it becomes second nature. The physical, mental and social benefits to young children playing sport are endless and I am passionate about providing oppportunities for children to find their love for sport, and Netball!
